unWired Broadband launches tower in southeast Bakersfield

unWired Broadband is proud to announce that we have launched a new tower in southeast Bakersfield, CA. Coming in at 150 feet tall, this tower will serve existing customers in the area, as well as provide the capacity to serve even more new customers. Access points on the tower are installed at 122 feet and should provide excellent coverage to the rural areas southeast of Bakersfield, including Lamont and Arvin. This is the 14th tower that unWired has launched so far in 2020. This tower is a great addition to our South Valley network and will provide additional redundancy to other towers in the area.

The deployment of this new tower in Bakersfield is the most recent expression of unWired’s continued commitment to providing fast & reliable Internet to those in rural and underserved areas throughout Central California. In the coming months, we look forward to making continued improvements to our existing network, as well as expanding our coverage area.
