The Best Central & Northern CA Pumpkin Patches & Corn Mazes 2023

Fall is quickly arriving in California, which means pumpkin patch and corn maze season is here! This is the perfect time of year to get outside, spend some time with your family and friends and enjoy the cooler weather. We wanted to share some favorite fall attractions that are sure to get you and your family into the fall spirit.

Murray Family Farms is open seven days a week during the month of October for their October Fun Fest, with hayrides, a pumpkin patch, bounce pillow, slide hill and a corn maze. They also have a variety of fruits to pick yourself or buy from their farm.

Pulford’s is a fall staple for many Kern County families! Head out to Tehachapi for apple picking, beginning on September 8. Several apple varieties are available to pick, including gala, Jonagold, Jonathan and many more!

Check out one of south Valley’s most epic corn mazes at Vossler Farms! The 2023 season opens on September 23 and the ten-acre corn maze and pumpkin patch will be open every day until October 31.

Hobb’s Grove is a long time Central Valley Halloween favorite that will open for the 2023 season on September 29. This year, they are combining their haunted house and haunted forest into one frightening experience. Be sure to check their website for prices and discounted dates!

This adorable kid-friendly pumpkin patch in Reedley is open every weekend from September 30 to October 31. They have a lot of fun activities for kids, such as steam train rides, hayrides, a nature trail and of course a pumpkin patch!

This extra spooky attraction in Madera near ApCal is open October 7 – 31 (closed select days…check their website for details). They boast two haunted attractions that are sure to get you in the Halloween spirit! Don’t forget to check their website for special discounted days.

2023 season at Hunter Family Farms begins on September 30 and runs through the month of October. Attractions include a pumpkin patch, hay and corn maze, hayride and a corn chute.

You and your family can enjoy pumpkin cannons, slides, hayrides and much more at Dutch Hollow Farms. Their Pumpkin Patch runs for the entire month of October, starting on September 30. Check their website for prices and hours!

Located along I-5, Fantozzi Farms has a myriad of fall attractions such as a 10-acre corn maze, a drive-thru haunted attraction, pumpkin patch, jumping pillow, corn cannons, pipe slides and more! The fall attractions at Fantozzi Farms will be open from September 30 to October 31.

Dell’Osso Family Farms is located off I-5 in Lathrop. They will open on September 30 and have a corn maze, pumpkin blasters, haunted castle, zip lines and pony rides.

Located south of Elk Grove, Keema’s Pumpkin Patch in Elk Grove opens on September 29. With a corn maze, farm animals and photo opps, there is something for the whole family! They will also have face painting and food trucks onsite on select dates.

Opening September 23, Fog Willow Farms has a pumpkin patch, over 50 farm animals and petting zoo, adventure course, unlimited hayrides all included with admission.

The 2023 Pumpkin Season begins on September 23, running through the month of October. Attractions include a cow train, petting zoo, face painting, horse rides and more!

Take advantage of this unique fall event – a train ride through Yolo County farmland that includes trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch visit, carnival games and more!
