unWired Broadband to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for NextGen Fiber Network in Wasco, CA

Construction is slated to continue throughout the rest of 2025, with an expected completion date of February 2026.

To celebrate this exciting milestone in the City of Wasco, unWired will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 25, 2025 at 9:00am on the corner of Central and Filburn. The event will feature remarks from local officials and unWired executives, as well as a photo opp. The media and public are invited to attend and witness the start of a new era of connectivity in Wasco.

Based in Fresno, unWired has been bridging the digital divide across Central and Northern California since 2003. Its extensive fixed wireless Internet network boasts over 200 towers across 17 counties, including one tower already serving Wasco. They have fully deployed their NextGen Fiber Network in Coalinga, serving over 1,500 customers. Construction is also underway in Parlier and Gustine, with additional fiber projects planned in the near future.
