At unWired, we talk to customers everyday who are overwhelmed by all of the Internet options out there. But don’t worry, we’ve put together a helpful overview of how our service stacks up to DSL Internet providers.

Speeds & reliability

The farther you are from your DSL provider’s network hub, the slower and more unreliable your speeds will be. However, even if you are close to the phone company hub, your speeds may still be inconsistent and slow because most DSL providers do not guarantee their speeds. With unWired, you are connected to the nearest tower to your location, ensuring your signal is solid. We offer guaranteed minimum speeds ranging from 75% to 100% of the maximum listed plan speeds.

Data limits

Check the fine print of your DSL Internet provider, because even DSL Internet providers have data limits. However, unlike DSL Internet providers who but throttle you or charge you overage charges when you exceed their data limits, our plans are truly unlimited. We never reduce your speeds or prioritize other customer’s connections.

Infrastructure & network

Because DSL wires are dug into the ground, it is very difficult to upgrade and maintain the infrastructure, which causes the technology to become outdated overtime. Our operations & engineering teams are constantly updating and improving our network, so that you can enjoy the fastest and most reliable Internet.
