unWired launches unWired Support mobile app

Providing exceptional support to our customers is at the heart of what we do here at unWired. We know that now, more than ever, it is vital to have tech support at your fingertips when you need it most. That is why we are excited to announce the launch of our brand-new unWired Support mobile app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play!

With the unWired Support app, you can quickly check your home Internet network for issues right from your smart phone or tablet. The unWired Support app is not intended to replace the friendly phone support that our customers know and love, but to provide a quick self-service option at the click of a button.

When should I use the unWired Support app?

If you are experiencing any of these issues, the unWired Support app can quickly check your network for potential causes and provide step-by-step solutions.

Internet speed issues

If you notice your Internet speed is slower than it should be, unWired Support can quickly diagnose issues that may be slowing down your speed.

Buffering video or games

If your video spends more time loading than playing, unWired Support may be able to resolve issues with your network.

Coverage issues within your home

Is your Internet not covering your entire home? unWired Support can examine your network to see if there are ways to boost your signal.

Devices dropping off the network

If you find your devices are randomly dropping off your network, there may be an easy way to solve that.

How can I get started with the unWired Support app?

This app is available for download in the Apple App Store or Google Play and can be downloaded to any smart phone or tablet device. All you have to do is download the app in the Apple App Store or Google Play and get started!

Download the App, Open & Click Begin

Download the unWired Support app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once the app is installed, open it and click on the button labelled “Begin”.

Select Network Check

Select NETWORK CHECK to start the diagnosis. Make sure you are standing next to your router (about 3 feet away) before starting the scan. The scan takes about 2 minutes. Do not exit the app or check notifications while the scan is running.

Check Results

When the check completes, you will see a screen displaying your WIRELESS speed test result. Remember, wireless speeds are expected to be about 10-20% slower than your wired speeds.

Improve Network if Necessary

To see suggestions on how to improve your network speed and connectivity, click IMPROVE NETWORK HEALTH at the bottom of the screen. Follow the instructions on the following screen.
