All you have to do is connect your apps and devices to IFTTT. Then, you can select from pre-made automations (called Applets) or customize your own. If you have an Apple device, there is a similar feature called Shortcuts.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0px; padding-bottom: 10px;\">Here are some examples of automations you can set up:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"job_bullets\">\u2022\tPause my Spotify music if Ring camera detects motion<\/li>\n<li class=\"job_bullets\">\u2022\tAutomatically change your Twitter profile photo when you change your Facebook profile photo<\/li>\n<li class=\"job_bullets\">\u2022\tText me the weather every morning<\/li>\n<li class=\"job_bullets\">\u2022\tSend me and email when Netflix updates their new releases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"blog-links\">Set up bill auto-pay<\/h3>\n<p>By setting up auto-pay for payments you regularly pay, you don\u2019t have to worry about forgetting to pay your bills or missing a payment. Most companies, like cell phone carriers, utility companies, loans, subscription services and more, have an auto-pay option. With this feature, your monthly payment will automatically be taken out of your account on the date that you select. Your bank may also offer the option to auto-pay your bills.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"blog-links\">Automate your deliveries<\/h3>\n<p>Thanks to Amazon\u2019s Subscribe &#038; Save service, you can make sure that you never run out of essentials again. Items like toiletries, cosmetics, food, medications and more can be auto-shipped to your home on whatever schedule you prefer. You can even receive a 15% discount on certain items when you use their Subscribe &#038; Save service. Many other websites also offer a similar service. Automating your deliveries can make your life simpler and give you one less thing to think about.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"blog-links\">Schedule device updates and back-ups<\/h3>\n<p>It can be easy to ignore those annoying update notifications on your devices, but ignoring them could decrease the lifespan of your devices.
