When it comes to free streaming services, you can’t beat Peacock. Peacock is the flagship streaming service for all NBC and Universal Pictures content. Although they have several paid tiers, you can gain access to a lot of their content for free, including all your favorite NBC shows, such as Parks and Recreation, Below Deck, Friday Night Lights, 30 Rock and more! They have a vast collection of over 40,000 hours of movies and TV shows, as well as 50+ Peacock-exclusive live channels 24/7.

With Pluto, you can watch 250 live channels spanning a variety of genres, including movies, news, sports, daytime TV, home food and more! Owned by Paramount, Pluto draws a lot of its content from BET, TV Land, MTV and VH1, including shows like Jersey Shore. Although a lot of the on-demand content is older, they still offer a very robust selection with over 100,000 hours of TV shows and movies.

If you have a Roku device, the Roku Channel is a must-download. They have a licensing deal with several major production studios, so you can except to see a lot of titles that you recognize. In 2021, they acquired the entire content library from the short-lived streaming service Quibi (now rebranded as Roku Originals). Although Crackle does not have an extensive selection, they do have some popular TV shows & movies and are always adding new content. Sling TV is a cable-replacement streaming service with several paid subscription options, however they now offer Sling TV Free! All you need to do is sign up and download the app on your smart TV or Android device and start watching. Through Sling TV Free, you can stream certain live TV channels and a large library on-demand TV and movies.
